Single-Photons in the Telecom bands will be a strict requirement when quantum communication applications in fiber networks are being targeted in the future. Here, it is of importance to efficiently couple the photons into a fiber without introducing severe losses. In this work, we directly couple single-photons in the telecom C-band emitted from semiconductor quantum dots embedded in optical resonators into optical fibers. The spatial sensitivity of the coupling efficiency and performance over a standard optical setup are investigated. These results will play a key role in the future development of fiber-coupled sources of quantum light.
