Chair of semiconductor quantum-optics
The Chair of Semiconductor Optics deals with the following research topics:

- Development of single photon sources and semiconducting entangled photon sources
- Microlaser: coherence properties and photon statistics
- Resonator quantum electrodynamics in semiconductors
- III-V semiconductor epitaxy using MOVPE (arsenides, phosphides, nitrides)
- Vertical emitting laser (VCSEL) in the red spectral range
- Optically pumped semiconductor wafer lasers (OP-SDL, VECSEL) in the red spectral range
